Unblock Pandora

Pandora is a fantastic streaming music service, but sadly it’s only available in a few countries, as you’ll see from the screenshot below. Pandora is restricted to Australia, New Zealand, and the USA. If you want to access this great service from elsewhere you’re going to need to find a way to unblock Pandora.

Unblock Pandora

Pandora is quite different to Spotify, and a great choice of service for real music enthusiasts keen to discover new tunes. First you select your favoured genres. Then, when songs are played you can provide feedback on them, which is used to tweak future content to your tastes.

Device support for Pandora is extensive and includes iPhone and iPad, Windows and Mac computers, Android devices, and Windows Phone. There is also a Pandora app for Blackberry, but you may have to play around a bit to download it onto a Blackberry from the “wrong” region.

Pandora is free at entry level, but ad-supported in this format. To switch off the ads you must pay a $4.99 monthly subscription – half the standard price of Spotify.

If you’re not currently in the United States, New Zealand, or Australia, we will need to use a SmartDNS to unblock Pandora. Below, you will find a list of our top five recommended providers to achieve this aim.

2. UnoTelly

UnoTelly Logo

Positives: Innovative region switching tool, free trial and money back guarantee

Negatives: Terms of Service thin on detail

UnoDNS by UnoTelly is a really great service. Unblocking Pandora will be no problem, and you may well choose to make use of the company’s innovative “Dynamo” region switcher to give you fine control over your settings.

We really like the fact that UnoTelly provide a free trial AND a money back guarantee, meaning you really can try this service with no risk whatsoever.

3. IronSocket

IronSocket Logo

Positives: Mutliple IP access, money back guarantee

Negatives: Limited self-service support, only available as part of a VPN package

IronSocket’s SmartDNS comes as part of a VPN package. This can make it a little more expensive than some services. However, the service does offer rare support for multiple IP addresses. If you’re going to make use of this and / or the VPN options, the extra few cents are well worth parting with.

IronSocket’s SmartDNS service is a good way to unblock Pandora, and you can also use the VPN option to achieve the same aim. This is a good quality service, with effective ticket support. Our only real criticism is that self-service support, in the form of a knowledge base, could be better.

4. Unlocator

Positives: Loads of setup assistance, an abundance of channel options, free trial

Negatives: Nothing major

Unlocator is quite a new service, but one that’s making waves in the SmartDNS industry. They are ideal for unblocking Pandora, but can also give you access to dozens more services, with more being added all the time.

There’s no risk to trying out Unlocator, as there’s both a free trial AND a money-back guarantee, something we always like to see. Unlocator is also a good choice if you have a range of devices, as you’ll find one of the best collections of setup guides out there.

5. Blockless

Blockless Logo

Positives: Free trial, extra software tools you may find useful

Negatives: Software still requires manual DNS changes

Blockless includes plenty of extra bells and whistles with its SmartDNS service, including an ad blocker and SmartVPN tool. Whether these interest you or not will depend on whether you’re an enthusiast or prefer simplicity!

Either way, Blockless are one of our recommended providers if you need to unblock Pandora. You’ll have the service up and running in no time, and there’s a free trial you can use to check it’s right for you.
